Elly, an agribusiness student, has always longed for a real adventure. She never expected to find it on her first day at the local university.

A chance encounter with a talking cat, Telemon, an astronaut-in-training, Timothy, a marketing student, Alice, and a secretive farmhand, Benson, throws all of them into another world on the brink of destruction. Their mission: rescue Timothy’s mother, Maria, from the Lor, a water-dwelling species whose territory is drying up. Desperate not to leave the legacy of a dying land, the Lor King has taken Maria and her machine, hoping to use its power to conquer other water-rich worlds, and possibly Earth.

The group’s only hope lies in seeking an alliance with the murderous Fairy King, Rajaa, his captive, the Lor Prince Eskovan, and Febelon, a cat from the lawless wastelands.

All are wary of their new companions, and when the situation becomes even more treacherous, betrayals threaten their mission, Benson’s true identity and the complications it brings are revealed, and distrust of the King and Febelon only continues to grow. Meanwhile, Elly faces the hardest challenge of them all: her own growing feelings for the evil King she should despise.

And of course, nothing they do will even matter unless they can get the assistance of the most technologically advanced beings in the land—the frogs.
